Today our 5th grade students had a very special event to conclude their bi-monthly bilingual English/History project on Monarchy. The activity was inspired by a fictional invitation sent by Queen Elizabeth II, requesting the honor of the students’ presence for a morning tea at Green Book Gardens!
We organized a “Royal Breakfast” with an elegant table to receive the royal family and their guests. We served jam-filled bread, chocolate éclairs, and Earl Grey tea – one of the Queen’s favorites.
The highlight of the activity was the presence of the “British Royal Family”! Teachers Patty, Jéssica, Renan, Leonardo and Layla were dressed up in elegant attire and crowns, and joined the students for the “Royal Breakfast.”
This activity was an incredible way to conclude the bi-monthly bilingual project and put into practice all the knowledge acquired in the classroom. Additionally, it was a unique opportunity for the students to have fun while learning about the history and traditions of one of the world’s most iconic countries.
We thank everyone involved in organizing this special event, which will leave an unforgettable memory in our students’ lives. And we hope that they have learned a lot about Monarchy and had a lot of fun at the “Royal Breakfast.”
