This past weekend, our Early Childhood Education team participated in their annual first aid training, conducted by the specialized company Impacto for School. This training is part of our ongoing commitment to the safety and well-being of the children in our care, as required by Lucas Law.
Lucas Law, enacted in 2018, mandates that all professionals in schools and facilities working with children receive first aid training. Here at Green Book, we take this responsibility very seriously, ensuring that our team is always prepared to act effectively in emergency situations.
Beyond being a legal requirement, first aid training is a preventive action that can make a significant difference in critical moments. During the course, our staff reviewed and practiced emergency response techniques for situations such as choking, cardiac arrest, falls, and injuries. This knowledge is essential for us to know how to proceed quickly and correctly, minimizing risks and ensuring proper care until professional help arrives.
For us, the safety of the children is a non-negotiable priority. By investing in the training of our team, we reinforce our commitment to creating a safe and welcoming environment. The peace of mind of families is fundamental, and we believe that this annual training is one way to ensure we are always prepared to protect our students.
Over the years, we have sought certifications and badges that demonstrate our dedication to school safety. The first aid training is one of the requirements for us to maintain our certification as a Safe School, reinforcing the trust that families place in our institution.
At Green Book, we believe that combining a safe environment with a qualified team creates the ideal conditions for the full development of children. The first aid training is just one of the many initiatives we adopt to safeguard our students’ well-being and provide a complete and secure educational experience.
