Literacy Month

September was a special month here at Green Book, filled with exciting and meaningful activities to celebrate “Literacy Month.” Our KII (Early Childhood Education) classes and 1st-grade students immersed themselves in a month full of learning, interaction, and fun. Below, we describe the incredible activities that marked this period.

Educational Trip to the “Book City” – 01/09

To kick off this special month, on September 1st, the KII and 1st-grade classes embarked on an exciting educational trip to the “Book City.” In this themed scenic space, our students delved into incredible stories that addressed topics such as citizenship, health, cultural diversity, the environment, and ethics. It was a playful and interactive experience that encouraged a love for reading from an early age.

Cross-Class Integration – 15/09

On September 15th, the KII students had the opportunity to warmly welcome the 1st-grade classes. This visit aimed to promote interaction among students and foster mutual understanding. It was a pleasant morning filled with games, where the children shared experiences and had fun together.

Visit to Elementary School – 22/09

To conclude the integration journey, on September 22nd, the KII students had the exciting opportunity to learn more about the routine, teachers, and spaces of the Elementary School. It was a magical and welcoming moment for our future students, allowing them to glimpse the next step in their educational journey.

Special Gathering – 30/09

And to end in grand style, on September 30th, we had a special gathering that brought together parents, students, teachers, and coordinators from the KII and 1st-grade classes. It was a moment of integration, fun, and strengthening of bonds among our different classes, all in a delightful breakfast.

We believe that these activities were of utmost importance in enriching the educational experience of our children, promoting learning, integration, and a love for reading. We were thrilled to see the enthusiasm and involvement of our students throughout this very special month.
