This week, Green Book had the honor of welcoming Investigator Ivan Murta from DECRADI (Police Department for Racial Crimes and Intolerance Offenses) for a series of lectures aimed at middle and high school students. The event is part of our ongoing awareness initiatives, in compliance with Law 14.811, which aims to combat bullying and cyberbullying in schools.
During the lectures, Investigator Murta addressed key topics for young people, such as hate crimes, intolerance, and the dangers of cyberbullying. He provided real-life examples and discussed how to identify, prevent, and handle situations of intolerance, highlighting the importance of fostering an environment of respect and safety both inside and outside of school.
This initiative is part of Green Book’s commitment to promoting a welcoming educational environment, where empathy, respect, and dialogue are core values. Investigator Murta’s presence further emphasizes the seriousness with which we approach these issues and our responsibility to prepare students to face social challenges in a conscious and responsible way.
Green Book remains steadfast in the fight against bullying and any form of intolerance, and we will continue to offer activities and lectures that encourage reflection and positive behavioral change in our students.
