Kangaroo Math Competition

This week, we had the pleasure of hosting a special breakfast to welcome parents and students who participated in the Kangaroo Math Competition, the largest international mathematics competition in the world. Our students from 6th grade to 12th grade enthusiastically dedicated themselves to this significant competition.

The Kangaroo Math Competition, which originated in France and is globally administered by the Association Kangourou sans Frontières (AKSF), gathers over 6 million participants annually in more than 95 countries. This competition provides a unique opportunity for students to test their mathematical skills and stand out on a global stage.

In addition to promoting logical reasoning and critical thinking, the competition encourages students to solve mathematical problems creatively and innovatively. It challenges students to apply their knowledge in practical situations, enriching their learning experience beyond theoretical understanding.

We are incredibly proud to announce that 18 of our students earned medals with outstanding performances. This includes 2 gold medals, with 95% accuracy on the test, 1 silver with 90% accuracy, 7 bronze medals with 80% accuracy, and 8 honorable mentions, earned by students who achieved 75% accuracy. These results reflect our students’ effort, dedication, and talent, filling us with immense joy and satisfaction.

We congratulate all our students for their excellent participation and thank everyone for attending this morning’s breakfast. Moments like these strengthen our school community and celebrate the achievements that are part of our students’ educational journey. Here’s to more challenges and, of course, more victories!
