Last Saturday, March 23rd, our hallways transformed into gateways to imaginary worlds and sources of knowledge at the much-anticipated School Book Fair. Held during the morning at the Elementary and Middle School unit, the event brought with it an atmosphere of learning and fun for the entire school community.
A special highlight was the booth set up by the renowned company “Book Engineering”, where visitors could explore a wide variety of titles that nourish the mind and soul. From literary classics to contemporary works, there was something for every taste and age, encouraging the valuable habit of reading.
Additionally, the creativity and talent of our Elementary School students shone during the presentation of “CarnaGB”. With an arts project involving music, each school year brought to life different aspects of Brazilian carnival. It was a celebration of culture and artistic expression that delighted all present.
But the Book Fair was not limited only to literature and the arts. Parents also had the opportunity to participate in an enlightening lecture promoted by the School of Intelligence, addressing the five love languages. It was a significant moment to reflect on the importance of nurturing family relationships and strengthening emotional bonds.
In this fast-paced world full of digital distractions, it is crucial to reaffirm the importance of reading as an essential tool for intellectual and emotional development. Through books, we can travel to distant places, learn about different cultures, and expand our understanding of the world around us.
The Book Fair was more than just an event; it was a celebration of education, creativity, and a love for knowledge. We thank everyone who contributed to making this day so special and hope that the lessons learned and the stories discovered continue to inspire our students with every page turned.
