This week we had a special day for the 2nd-grade classes, full of magic, enchantment, and inspiration! We welcomed with great joy the visit of the talented author Elisabete Baptista, creator of the book “The Yellow World of Aurora,” which recently captivated the hearts of our students.
The atmosphere in the school was electrically charged with excitement as Elisabete entered the classrooms, bringing with her not only her captivating words but also the illustrious presence of the characters Lola and Aurora. It was a unique experience to see the children so immersed in the stories they had previously only known through the pages of the book.
Lola and Aurora, coming to life before the curious and bright eyes of the students, shared their adventures. It was an incredible opportunity for the young readers to interact with characters who had become their imaginary friends during reading.
We want to express our deep gratitude to Elisabete for her inspiring partnership from the first steps of our young readers. Her presence not only enriched the reading experience but also opened doors to the imagination and creativity of our students, encouraging them to explore new worlds through the pages of books.
