In high school, we think about the transition phase of our student to university and the job market. We help them build their individual life project and prepare them for adulthood in three different spheres: academic, professional and personal. That’s why we started the 1st grade of high school with the subject “Life Project” – which will help them reflect on their different expectations. In addition, environmental studies, cultural and educational trips, enhance the comprehensive and individualized training of our students.

INDIVIDUALIZED ORIENTATION
We accompany, side by side, each of our students in their individual path from High School to College, in 11 stages:

All of this brings numerous benefits to our students, such as greater clarity in career choice, better preparation for college entrance exams and ENEM, expansion of cultural repertoire and practical knowledge, and emotional support. With the important assistance of specialized professionals and tools, students have the opportunity to better understand their skills and competencies, as well as gain more in-depth knowledge about the available courses and colleges in the market, contributing to their more complete and confident development, preparing them to face the challenges of both academic and professional world with greater confidence.

THE NEW HIGH SCHOOL: EXTENDED HOURS

The requirements of the New High School program are extrapolated. While the minimum workload required by law is 3,000 hours per year, we offer 4,000 hours – 1,800 hours of general basic education and 2,200 hours of formative itineraries. In addition, in High School we offer a range of extracurricular activities such as Karate, Spanish, Volleyball and much more. Check out the full grid here!

THE BIG DIFFERENTIAL OF OUR NEW HIGH SCHOOL

Our great differential is that at Green Book, students can attend itineraries in the four areas of knowledge, concomitantly – an option that is rarely offered in other schools. Our students will take, in addition to traditional subjects, classes such as: Film, Music and Theater, Science and Health, Pharmacology, Financial Mathematics, Economics, Politics, Physics Laboratory and Sports.

GABARITAR PROGRAM

The Gabaritar Program was created in 2022 with the aim of preparing, even more consistently, students in the 11th and 12th grades of High School for college entrance exams. Throughout the entire school year, students have daily classes in the areas of Mathematics, Natural Sciences, Human Sciences, Languages, Biology, Chemistry and Physics. Classes are 50 minutes long and take place after school hours. Participation in the Program is voluntary and there is no additional cost for students who wish to participate.

THE ENGLISH LANGUAGE IN HIGH SCHOOL

After school, the Advanced English course is offered for those students who are interested in finishing their basic education with the C2 level of the Common European Framework, which guarantees full proficiency in the English Language.
